Providing Drinking Water Near Hospitals
Our Mission
At Sir Foundation Khidmat-e-Ummat, we believe that access to clean drinking water is a fundamental right. Every day, hundreds of attendants and families spend long, exhausting hours outside hospitals, often without access to safe and free drinking water. Our mission is to ease this struggle by ensuring that no one near hospitals remains thirsty while caring for their loved ones.
Why This Initiative Matters
For many families, the emotional and financial stress of having a patient in the hospital is overwhelming. In such difficult times, even a glass of clean water becomes a blessing. We aim to provide safe, cool, and easily accessible drinking water to attendants, patients’ relatives, and anyone in need — free of cost and without discrimination.
What We Do
- Install water dispensers and containers near busy hospital areas.
- Organize volunteer-driven water distribution drives during peak hours.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards to offer safe drinking water.
- Extend this initiative during summers and Ramadan, when demand is high.
Future Goals
We plan to expand this project by setting up permanent water kiosks near major hospitals and public health centers in Telangana. Additionally, our vision includes launching “Water on Wheels”, a mobile water distribution service for areas with high footfall during emergencies.
